Watercolor Woodland Dream

Such an amazing wedding to be apart of for many reasons, That DRESS and colors in this autumnal wedding. The Weather was absolutely beaming with sunshine and made for the perfect setting at the gorgeous Southwood Hall.

Flower wise i had my work cut out for my using my new moon gate arch as the backdrop for the ceremony but man, it didn't disappoint. With such a mixture of summer pastels to compliment Shaula's Stunning wedding dress, it brought the whole picture together. The stunning moon gate archway Featured snowberry, Delphiniums, Mimosa, Juliette, Garden o hara and avalanche roses mixed with astilbe, amaranthus, hydrangea and clematis with moss for a natural feel.

With Shaula's dress being so beautiful and unique the bouquets had to compliment in their colors, with Shaula love of garden style roses and dusky colored blooms her bouquet smelt amazing with long ribbons trails.

Those beautiful David Austin 'Juliette' roses really do stand out from the crowd with their amazing centres, the bridesmaid wore a gorgeous subtle olive green dress which complemented the color perfectly.

This little girly stole the show with her hydrangea and foliage floral crown and garden rose wand with trailing ribbons, check out those pink converse! seriously cute flowergirl!!

The Buttonholes had an element of the pastel hues with peach and blush pink with the soft blues and navy complimenting the guys smart navy suits...

Certain details throughout the day really made an impression, this gold cutlery is really a beautiful touch, we placed a snippet of foliage on each place setting for an extra special touch. The element of gold and green really followed through the rest of the table centres and decorations as brass lanterns and candlesticks provided some beautiful mood lighting and romantic atmosphere for the evening.

Our beautiful Cloche designs sat on our very own log slices with peaches, pinks, greens and blue making a romantic woodland design to sit central to each table. Each table also had 3 candlesticks and three beautiful glass bottles with single stems to complete the look, the colored glass bottles really captured the colors being blue, green and Taupe.

Our beautiful Agate table numbers made their first appearance, such an effortlessly cool and on trend way to display your table numbers.

The head table provided little delights spanning the length of the table, with candlesticks, lanterns, mini log slices and miniature cloches to compliment to guest tables with loose foliage and bottles along the table to create a relaxed and informal feel.

So many elements inspired the flowers for this wedding but mainly three key elements, Shaula's dress, Hints of gold & Disney!

If you've seen the live action remake of beauty and the beast you'll absolutely see the similarities.... The flower patterned dress, The candlesticks and beautiful roses in glass jars... This was one classy nod to one of the Disney classic and boy did it feel like a fairy tale.

Congratulations guys!

Wendy
